Co-organized by PILnet and Taylor Wessing, this workshop is part of PILnet’s effort to harness the power of pro bono to support the climate and environmental justice movement and to engage legal professionals in addressing climate justice.

The workshop will lay the groundwork for an Environment and Climate Pro Bono Pitching Roundtable taking place in June, where NGOs will be supported to pitch their pro bono projects to law firms and be connected with free legal support to strengthen their organizations and advance their programs.

The workshop aims to:

  • Raise awareness about environmental and climate pro bono support available globally,
  • Inspire new pro bono partnerships through successful case studies,
  • Help organizations navigate common challenges when working with law firms; and
  • Support the development and pitching of strong, actionable pro bono project proposals.

While the Pitching Roundtable is limited to legal assistance requests for European and US jurisdictions, we welcome organizations interested in pro bono partnerships to submit all kinds of legal project ideas via our Legal Assistance Intake Form.

Please see the attached flyer for further information and register for this event here.
