Legal Information and Capacity Building Officer

2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Salary €34,000 to €36,000

Nasc is an independent human rights organisation that seeks to enable migrants to access justice and human rights and works to ensure a just inclusive and integrated society. Nasc is inviting applications for a Legal Information and Capacity Building Officer to work in our Legal Information Service.

Key areas of responsibility:

- To provide advice and information on a one to one basis on a range migration related issues.

- To assist in the day to day running of Legal Information Clinics.

- To advocate on behalf of clients.

Person Specification:

- 2 years experience in a similar position.

- A strong commitment to human rights and social justice.

- Extensive knowledge of asylum and immigration policies practices and law.

Salary in the region €34,000 - €36,000

Operations Assistant (Part Time)

2 year fixed term contract

Salary: €32,000 pro rata

Nasc is inviting applications for a part time operations assistant. The Operations Assistant will be responsible to the Chief Executive Officer and will be required to support the Chief Executive Officer around operational management of the organisation, managing the office facilities, health and safety, aspects of funding and fundraising, communication with membership and other stakeholders.

Job Description:

- To assist the chief officer with administrative duties assigned to the CEO.

- Contribute to increasing team efficiency by giving support both operationally and administratively.

- Provide assistance and coordination of Nasc meetings and events.

Personal Specification:

- At least two years administration experience desirable.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Strong personal organisation and planning ability.
