Department of Social Protection: Social Inclusion Forum – 14 September, Dublin

Date:     14 September 2016

Time:     9:15 – 15:50

Venue:   Chartered Accountants House, 47-49 Pearse St, Dublin 2

The Department of Social Protection is hosting its Annual Social Inclusion Forum, focusing on the theme of ‘Growing an Inclusive Recovery’.  The purpose of the forum is to support the development of the National Action Plan for Social Inclusion (NAPinclusion).

This event will provide public consultation and discussion on social inclusion issues between officials from Government Departments, Community and Voluntary Organisations and people experiencing poverty in relation to NAPinclusion. Crucially, it gives a voice to people who are directly affected by poverty and social exclusion and those who work with them, so that policies can be implemented in the most effective way.

Further information including a programme and the booking arrangements will be circulated shortly.
