RightsInfo: Coordinator – deadline 9 September 2016

RightsInfo is a digital project and registered charity which brings human rights to life by presenting human rights news, views and information on the internet and on social media. They are looking for a coordinator for a part-time, 4-month post based in the UK.

The role will include administration duties such as budget management, policy creation, HR procedures, payroll and accounting, and contract management. The coordinator will also be required to coordinate meetings and take minutes; coordinate the activities of RightsInfo’s Trustee Board; prepare funding applications; coordinate project volunteers; human rights research and writing; social media management.

The successful candidate should have a university degree; excellent English; excellent IT and communication skills; ability to work unsupervised and permission to live and work in the UK. Other desirable qualities include an understanding and passion for human rights, experience in the human rights field, and media and journalism skills.
