Committee on the Administration of Justice: Immigration Project Coordinator – deadline 19 December

The purpose of this post is to lead and implement a programme of work designed to promote a positive and welcoming migration regime, using devolved powers as possible; offer expert legal support to NGOs working with migrants; monitor the activities of immigration enforcement agencies; and undertake strategic litigation as appropriate and possible.

The person appointed will be a solicitor or barrister, qualified and able to practise immigration law in the UK and with the ability to carry out social research and policy advocacy.

This post is for a fixed term of two years. The salary grade is New NJC Points 35-36 (£37,849 – £38,813; Scale Points and figures valid from 1 April 2019) plus 8% employer’s contribution to pension.
