Ballyfermot Traveller Action Project: Coordinator – deadline 30 May

Ballyfermot Traveller Action Project (BTAP) is an independent Traveller community development organisation established in 2002. BTAP endorses the belief in Traveller’s right to self-determination and collective action to combat the inequality and exclusion they experience. While BTAP work with Travellers from the wider Ballyfermot area, the main focus of BTAPs work is prioritised within Labre Park. BTAP is seeking passionate and experienced people to join its dynamic team.

Coordinator

Fixed-term contract (3 years), full time.

The person will have a track record in organisational management to lead a non-governmental organisation. The person will be an effective communicator who will work in partnership with the Traveller community and deliver BTAP’s next strategic plan in line with its vision. The person will have the skills and experience to engage multi-stakeholders during a period of significant change for the Traveller community in Labre Park.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
